Classic old hotel with great rooms. Quite, clean and comfortable.

Good customer service with reasonable rates. Plenty of amenities available, including what is effectively a full kitchenette. Bed is adequate and isuch more scent free than other locations. Not very handicap friendly as it is an older building.
The Town and Mountain is plain-Jane, 2-star hotel, and much better than it looks from the outside. Our recently renovated room was clean and comfortable; everything worked. There was no hair dryer, you need to go to the front desk for that.We found the location convenient, within walking distance to amenities. Our room overlooked the road, but it was quiet at night. If you have mobility issues you should be aware that this three-story building has no elevator and I believe that all rooms are on the second and third floors.The Town and Mountain is good option in Whitehorse.
