Travelling through Whitehorse I noticed a number of barbers in town, but I couldn't have been happier stopping at The Shed to see Tony (and Camille). Tony immediately knew what would work for me and I couldn't be happier with the result!! Great service and with a smile.
Not a review of every hairdresser here, but specifically for the brunette with glasses (don't know her name). Very disappointed after my cut last week, as this place was very highly recommended. I asked for a gradual fade on the side and longer at the top, a pretty standard men's haircut nowadays. I even showed her a photo of what I meant about length at the top. She never checked in with me how long I wanted at the top and just kept cutting away. The worst part was I couldn't even look in the mirror to check, as she kept spinning my chair away from the mirror. The result: I received this strange faux-hawk looking style, with an uneven cut on the sides, that looks even more irregular 1 week out.For what it's worth, the other 2 hairdressers (Tony, the owner, and ?Robyn) were cutting other men's hair and it looked great and what I was actually looking for. TL;DR: if you're a male looking for a haircut, book an appointment with Tony and avoid a brunette with glasses.

I live most of the year in Toronto, and visit Whitehorse every 4-6ish months. Tony at The Shed is the only person who has cut my hair in Canada since I moved from London, UK two years ago, and I only trust him (I am and have always been particular about my hair) to touch it! Everyone there is friendly and I love the community spirit- everyone's a friend when they walk into The Shed. Tony cut my hair into a long bob last year and it's now my favourite style.
Not happy with my cut or color. Much better places to go in town.
